Orders arrive from direct customers and ecommerce channels, staff manages a modest warehouse, and finance wants fewer manual exports. The company is deciding whether adding Zoho Inventory will reduce handoffs or merely create another database.

The correct evaluation begins with objects, not screens. Identify where the customer record originates, where an item is created, which application owns stock, what generates an invoice, and where payment and accounting status return.
